The Game is Afoot For a New Year!

Well Christmas and New Years have come and gone. And most bleary eyed people were waking up and going, “Do I really have to go back to work and school?”

The answer is, “YES!” I prefer to have the attitude, Sherlock demonstrated in “The Adventured of the Abbey Grange”:

‘Come, Watson, come!’ he cried. ‘The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come!’

 And when I made to it to my work (remember my previous post of me dressed like Sherlock during Halloween?), my kind co-worker, a sweet person who will be referred to as “Mrs. S.” had this waiting for me!

I mean yeah I have some slightly psychotic looking smile, but look at this tie? This is straight from England and it is beautiful!

This beautiful gift is from my wife, Laura Smith. This is my favorite adaption of “THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES”! Sometime soon, I will have a write up on this.

Remember the post I did about my dad?

Both and he and my mother got this for me and also dig that it was introduced by previous guest, Leslie Klinger.
